The following versions of Alpha7 PC Loader, a motor controller, are affected:

  • Alpha7 PC Loader Versions 1.1 and prior

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified, which may crash the system.

CVE-2019-10975 has been assigned to this vulnerability. A CVSS v3 base score of 3.3 has been calculated; the CVSS vector string is (AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L).

kimiya of 9SG Security Team, working with Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative, reported this vulnerability to NCCIC.

4. MITIGATIONS

Fuji Electric has released Version 1.2 of the software, which can be downloaded from:
